美国肯塔基州一名8岁男童，去年参加学校筹款活动后身亡。家属声称他吃下草莓后过敏发作，隔天早上死亡。事件引发全国关注，当地卫生部门还一度警告民众「小心草莓」，结果验尸证实男童是死于芬太尼过量。

据美媒报道，男童哈里斯（Trey Harris）的死亡当时令外界震惊，当局还一度督促官员对学校募款活动出售的草莓发出警告。但经调查发现，涉案草莓不含任何危险物质，男童真正死因是芬太尼（Fentanyl）中毒。
警方在男童家中，发现33岁继父佩森（Antonio Person）藏有大量芬太尼，还发现枪械。佩森因此被控二级误杀、贩运芬太尼、持有手枪、持有大麻以及5项持有吸毒用具的罪名。他承认控罪，本周获刑25年。
